Non-Monetary Donations

Habitat homes are built affordably with the help of generous donations of materials, whether used in the construction of homes or for Sale at the Habitat Restore. Habitat appreciates your interest in supporting the mission of decent shelter for all, and asks you to please review the guidelines for non-monetary or donations of materials.

The guidelines are also available as PDF file for your reference : Guidelines

To make a non-monetary donation, please call 860-442-7890 press 2, and provide us with the requested information. Please remember that Habitat is primarily a volunteer staffed organization, so it may take a few days before you receive a response.

Thank you for your interest in supporting the families of New London County.

Cars For Homes

"Recycle" Cars for Homes - Donate a Vehicle

Car donations can help a family in your community build a house!

By donating a car to Habitat’s Cars for Homes™ vehicle donation program, you help Habitat for Humanity of Southeastern Connecticut build and rehabilitate houses in partnership with families in need of a hand up, not a hand out.  It is quick and easy to donate cars, trucks, boats, RVs, motorcycles, construction equipment or other vehicles — running or not! Plus, you may be eligible for a tax deduction if you itemize. (Consult the IRS or your tax adviser for details.)

To donate a car, truck, boat or RV to Cars for Homes™ — Habitat’s official car donation program

Call (877) 277-HFHI (4344) toll free or donate vehicles online.
