Instructions for Registering for Foundations
1.
While logged on to the Internet, go to http://www.habitatsect.org and click on
"Get Involved." The click on the
link for Volunteer Up website.
2. Click on Log In,
located in the upper left hand side of the screen. This takes you to a Log In screen.
3. Under the heading "I am a New Volunteer:"
Click
the Register button
Follow
instructions for registering by creating a User
Name and Password. (your user
name and password can contain no spaces)
Complete
the Volunteer Profile
If you are registering because you are part
of a sponsor group or team, as you set up your volunteer profile you will see a
list of teams. Choose the one you belong to. This will allow you to sign up for
days reserved for your team.
You
may be a member of more than one team, for example Interfaith Temple Emanu-El
and Tuesday Faithful Framers.
When
done filling in all the data, click Register
at the bottom of the page
You
will see at the top of the page: Registration Information Added! Click
Here to continue.
This
will take you to the Volunteer Opportunities or calendar
page.
4. Foundations dates will be listed in the "Training" column.
Foundations sessions are held the second Saturday of every month. To sign up
for Foundations of Habitat simply choose a Foundations date and click on the
blue Sign Up. If the box reads Full, click on Next Month>> at the top right of the screen to see the next
available session. Once you click on Sign
Up:
Check
the box under Select Shift. You may
also choose to enter how many guests you will bring with you.
You
may also choose to have an email reminder sent to you. You can do this by
making a selection from the Email
Reminder box.
Click
on Sign Up. This will take you to a
confirmation page. You may choose to have an email confirmation sent to you.
Click
Return. This will bring you back to
the calendar page.
5. At the top of the calendar page you will see links for
our Volunteer Waiver and Volunteer Checklist. Please download these documents
and bring your completed waiver to the Foundations session.
